<br /> . "WHEREAS, the City of Eugene has the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
<br /> ($50,000.00) of its general Qond and general bond interest payment moneys invested
<br /> in Series "V' U. S. Government certificates of indebtedness, dated December 1, 1946
<br /> ,and maturing. on December 1, 1947; that.
<br /> W'HEREAS, there will be interest in the amount of Ten ,Thousand Dollars
<br /> ($10,000.00) becoming payable upon general bonds of the City on January 1, 1947,
<br /> and it is necessary to have the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) cash on
