Olin "for a permit to erec~ a residence <br />with an attached garage within ten feet of University Street at the northwest <br />corner of the intersection with Twenty-eightb Avenue. The purpose or the request <br />was to get a greater separation from the house and garage on the west. Owing to <br />the ample room on the lot for a different location of the garage, the Board <br />recommends that the request be denied. <br /> <br />A request was received from George R. Greer aSking to be allowed a <br />four_teen foot- set-back from Monroe Street- at the north:-east corner of the inter- <br />section with Nineteenth Avenue. The Board recommends that the request be granted <br />on c0pdition that the puilding to the north of the proposed residence, which is <br />out to the street line, be removed. <br /> <br />A request from-David B. Evans, for the Northwest Oil Co. for a permit <br />to erect a service shop on the lot at the southeast corner of the intersection <br />of Lawrence Street and Thirteenth Avenue. This request is for a service station <br />in an apartment zone and has been before the Board on previous occasions and <br />denied. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />".,1 They ar~ requesting a different setup this time, but the Board is recom- <br />I mending that the request be referred to the Planning Commission." <br /> <br />It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Davis that the report of the Board of <br />Appeals be received and placed on file and that the redommendations contained <br />therein be adopted.
