<br /> .~ <br /> 411 <br /> - ~- -- -- ~ ~- - ~ - -- -- <br /> ~ -~ <br /> A Resolution re: Lease agreement between City of Eugene and Organized Reserve <br /> 28 Corps, was submitted and read as follows: <br /> I <br /> !tBE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Eugene that the lease .~ <br /> between the City of Eugene and the United States of America which covers the ~~ <br /> following described premises: <br /> '.'-.1;.. <br /> ~l' "-. <br /> The East 200 feet of the following described property: Beginning at .~ '-, <br /> the intersection of the South line of 12th Avenue West and the east <br /> line of Chambers Street in the City of Eugene, Oregon, running thence <br /> I south along said east line of Chambers Street to the north line of <br /> 13th Avenue West, 334.25 feet, thence east along the north line of <br /> 13th Avenue West, 908.8 feet more or less to the east line of the <br /> property conveyed by F. G. Vaughn to S. H. Friendly and R. S. Bean <br /> by deed recorded in Book 24 page 142, Lane County Oregon Deed Records, <br /> thence North 334.65 feet to the south line of 12th Avenue West, thence <br /> 906.5 feet to the point of beginning, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, <br /> and containing 6.966 acres more or less; <br /> which lease has been presented by the United States of America to the City of Eugene <br /> for execution, shall be executed by the Mayor and the City Recorder and delivered to <br /> the Government for execution by its contracting officer." <br /> . <br /> It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Allen that the resolution be adopted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 29 It was moved. by Crumbaker, seconded by Johnson that in the matter of the proposed <br /> improvement to 15th Avenue West between Washington and Lawrence that the proper City <br /> Officers be instructed to prepare and deliver a deed to a strip of property approxi- <br /> mately 8.5 feet wide and 150 feet long, abutting on 15th Avenue West to the owner of <br /> the abutting property.
