<br />"The Oregon Motor Stages has had repeated requests for an extension of s~rvice '
<br />over the Elmira Road from HighvJBY 99, in add~tion residents and workers of the City
<br />of Eugene in the area north. of Chambers St. along 6th and 7th Sts. have also re-
<br />quested service. . I
<br />
<br />In the past, due to sh~rtage of equipment, we were unable to definitely promise'~ . _
<br />any relief to these areas. However, we are now in a position to give this additiona~ ~
<br />service. We are therefore starting Monday, September 8, 1947 a trial period of '
<br />sixty days a new bus service directly serving the above mentioned districts.
