<br />G~ "The City Planning Commission begs to report that at its meeting on November 4;
<br />1947, the Planning Commission considered the following proposals submitted to it by;,
<br />.the Common Cou'ncil, viz., !:

<br />1. The Common Counc il proposes too cause 24th Street to be opened 1:
<br />between Alder Street and Harris Street, for a width of 66 feet. ;
<br />
<br />2. The Common Council has referred to the City Manager with -
<br />authority to act, the proposed opening of a public alley extending 1
<br />east and west between 8th Avenue West and West Broadway from Van
<br />Buren Street to Tyler Street.' - ,", ,:

<br />and recommends tha t the Common Counc.il adopt, each of said proposals." :~

<br />It was moved by Pennington, seconded by Hawn that the, City Manager place an order
<br />with the Eugene Water Board for the in~tallation of said lights.

<br />A communication from Wallace G. Johnson, 123 West 11th reque~ting permission
<br />11 to move small office building now located at 901 Franklin to 123 West 11th, was
<br />submitted and re?d. . '
