Motion carried.., <br /> <br />A report o~ the City Manager re: repairs to roof of Library Building, was <br />submitted and read as follows: <br /> <br />'tAt the time that the budget for the fiscal year 1947-48 was. adopted last <br />spring,. the allocation for Public tLibrary purpose,s was. volun tarily reduqed by <br />action of the Library Board for the City of Eugene. . Since that date an emergency <br />involving the repairs to the roof of the library building. has, taken place and <br />. resulted in the necessary expenditu:r:e of $290.00.
