Council Bill No. 323 ~ Re: Prohfbiting indiscriminate carrying of passengers on automobiles, motorcycles and other motor vehicles, read the first time in full February 24, 1948, was brought on for second reading as amended by the ~ublic Works~ Committee. It was moved by Hawn, seconded by Crumbaker that the Bill as amended be read the second time by TITLE with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried u,nanimously. It was moved by Hawn, seconded by Crumbaker that the Bill as amended be read the third time by TITLE with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unani~ously. . . GC I Council Bill No. 336 - Re: Granting unto Oregon Electric Railway a re- 28 vocable permit to construct a spur track across Filmore Street, etc., was sub- mitted and read the first time in full. It was moved by Hawn, seconded by Davis that the ordinance be amended by adding to Section 2 the following: ' 29 "Prov~ded further that cars standing upon the spur above described without power attached shall be restricted to that portipn of the spur track serving Lot 10, Block, 11 of Croner 's Se.cond Addition." It was moved by Hawn, seconded by Davis that the Bill as amended be read the second time by TITIE, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously'.
