I <br /> 1 <br /> PERMANENT MAINTENANCE OF STREETS WERE DISCUSSED AND OR. CRU MBA KER AND THE CITY MANAGER <br /> EXPLAINED THE DIFF'ERENCE BETWEEN FULL MAINTENANCE ON UNIMPROVED GRAVEL STREETS AS AGAINST <br /> ( <br /> MAINTENANCe: ON PERMANENT PAVING. IT WAS EXPLAINED COUNCIL ACTION RELATIVE TO NOT MAINTAINING <br /> UNIMPROVED'STREETS WAS NECESSITATED BE CAUSE THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH MONEY TO ADEQUATELY MAINTAIN <br /> SUCH STREETS, BUT THAT PERMANENTL Y IMPROVED STREETS TOOK VERY LITTLE MAINTENANCE. <br /> ALSO THE CONDITION OF THE STREETS LEFT FROM INSTALLATION OF SEWERS AND WATER MAINS IN <br /> THIS DISTRICT WAS DISCUSSED AND ASSURANCE WAS GIVEN THAT EVERY EFFORT POSSIBLE WOULD BE <br /> MADE TO SEt THAT THESE STREETS WERE REPLACED IN AS GOOD A CONDITION AS THEY WERE PRIOR TO <br /> THE INSTALLATION OF THE SEWERS AND WATER MAINS; THA T THE CONTRACTOR, P.
