IT WAS ALSO <br /> SUGGESTED THAT ALL QUESTIONNAIRES BE SIGNED TO ASSIST IN IDENTIFYING THE EFFECT UPON <br /> PART I CULA R BUSINESSES. <br /> IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT A COpy OF THE PETITION BE I NG CIRCULATED TO REPLACE THE TWO-WA Y <br /> TRAFF'IC ON BROADWAY, WILLAMETTE AND HIGH STREETS BE OBTAINED AND THAT QUESTIONS BE f'ORMULATED <br /> FROM THIS PE TIT I ON IN AN ENDEAVOR TO UTILIZE THE RESULTS OF THE PETITION AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. <br /> IT WAS PROPOSED THAT A TRAFF'IC STUDY BE MADE RELATIVE TO THROUGH STREETS. <br /> IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT THE MIMEOGRAPHING AND DISTRIBUTION OF THIS PROPOSED QUESTIONNAIRE <br /> SHOULD NOT RUN OVER $150.00 AND THAT THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DO THE WORK IN MAILING OUT THE <br /> QUESTIONNAIRES To ITS MEMBERS. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OFFERED TO ASSIST IN THIS WORK AND <br /> ALSO IN ANY OTHER WAY POSSIBLE IN THE STUDY OF THE ONE-WAY GRID SYSTEM. MR. GILLILAN AND ALSO <br /> TELEGRAMS FROM D. GRANT MICKEL, ENGINEER IN CHARGE OF THE SURVEY AND THE CITY MANAGER Of' <br /> ALBUQUERQUE DESCRIBING THE TYPE OF SURVEY AND RESULTS EXPECTED. IT WAS BROU GHT OUT THAT <br /> THE ABOVE $60,000.00 WAS PRO-RATED BETWEEN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, THE STATE AND CITY OF <br /> ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO--THE CITY's SHARE BE~NG $8,000.00. <br /> IT WAS ALSO BROUGHT OUT THAT THIS WAS OF SUCH A NATURE THAT A LONG TIME STUDY SHOULD BE <br /> MADE TO THOROUGHLY ANALYZE THE EFFECT FROM SUCH A GRID SYSTEM BOTH FROM THE MOVEMENT Of' <br /> TRAf'F'IC AND FROM A BUSINESS AND ECONOMICAL STANO-POINT. <br /> , <br /> IT WAS BROUGHT OUT BY MR.
