THIS RECOMMENDATION WAS <br />CONCURRED IN BY FOUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS WITH TWO, COUNCILMEN SIEGENTHALER AND OWEN <br />DISSENTING. THE DISSENTING MEMBERS DESIRED THAT THE L1MIT OF LEASES .BE JANUARY I, 1959. <br /> <br />IT IS ALSO THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE COMMITTEE THAT THE RATE FOR LEASES AT THE <br />AIRPARK BE SET AT SIX CENTS PER SQUARE FOOT P€R YEAR. FURTHER DISCUSSION WAS GIVEN TO <br />A PROPOSAL TO RELOCATE THE AIR STRIP TO ANOTHER CLOSE-IN LOCATION. IT IS THE RECOMMENDA- <br />TION OF THE COMMITTEE THAT THE CITY MANAGER BE INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT THE C.A.A. THE ACTION OF THE COMMITTEE IS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. ASSESSMENT FOR THE SEWER IN THE ALLEY BETWEEN 12TH AND 13T~ AVENUE AND MILL AND <br />FERRY STREET. LESTER CALDER, REPRESENTING THE CENTRAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, PRESENTED A REQUEST <br />TO WAIVE A PORTION OF THE REQUIRED 50 rOOT SETBACK TO ACCOMMOD~TE THEIR NEW CHURCH IN THE <br />HALF BLOCK ON EAST 15TH AVENUE FROM FERRY STREET TO PATTERSON STREET. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />THE INTERIOR PROPERTY LINE INVOLVED ABUTTS THE EAST/WEST ALLEY NORTH OF 15TH AVENUE <br />AND THE NEW STRUCTURE AS PLANNED IS 14 FEET SHORT OF MEETING THE 50 FOOT REQUIRED SETBACK <br />FROM INTERIOR PROPERTY LINES. ~HERErORE, THE TRUSTEES ARE REQUESTING A WAIVER OF THIS 14 <br />FEET. ALL OT~ER SETBACKS ARE IN CONFORMITY WITH THE ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS. <br /> <br />THE BOARD GAVE TENTATIVE APPROVAL PROVIDING THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PRESBYTERIAN <br />CHURCH WOULD FURNISH WRITTEN CONSENT FROM THE ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNERS THAT THE WAIVER <br />OF THE 14 FEET WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A DETRIMENT. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />~ <br />
