<br />FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS AGAIN, FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, WON FIRST PLACE IN THE CONTEST
<br />FOR THE PREVENTION OF FIRES AND I AM SURE THAT AGAIN YOU AND THE MAYOR WILL JOIN WITH ME
<br />IN CONGRATULATING THE FIRE CHIEF, THE FIRE MARSHALL AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THIS

<br />TODAY, THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT REPORTS THAT THE ONLY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT GOING
<br />IN THE CITY IS THE RIVERVIEW SEWER AND THAT IT IS PROGRESSING NICELY. THE PUMP~OUSE HAS
<br />BEEN COMPLETED EXCEPT FOR THE INSTALLATION or THE PUMP, WHICH HAS NOT ARRIVED AS YET.
<br />THE'TUNNEL UNDER THE RAILROAD WILL BE STARTED THIS WEEK AND WHEN FINISHED, 'SECTION I AND
<br />SECTION 2 WILL TAEN BE JOINED."
