Mr. Fred Brenne of the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of the Board of ! I Ii Direc tors, indicated that Mr. Finlayson had been a val ued member of the Chamber of Commerce. A Ii il letter signed by all department heads of the City expressing regret at his resignation was read, Ii : which letter further paid tribute to his administration and leadership during his years as City it : Administrator of the City of ~_Eugene. !i , ~ I : 'i It was moved by Mr. Shearer and seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resi'gnation be accepted ;: i and placed on file as of its effective date, that Mr. Finlayson be asked to continue as the City :'1 ' Manager unt il he has to leave or a new City Manager is hired.
