Eugene Fruit Gravers - The Public Works Department repo~ted th~i Eugene <br />Fruit Growers had agreed to enter into a contract with the City to construct a new sewer <br />line to replace the badly deteriorated Fruit Growers line running west between 7th and <br />8th, discharging into the main line between High and Mill. The new line would be con- <br />structed on Ferry Stree't from north of 8th to an exif?ting 1tne ,on Broadway and is esti- <br />mated to cost $26,000. .Fruit Growers would ,pay tf:1e ent ire cost, including 5% engineer- <br />ing charge, except an estimated $7200 to be paid by ~he City which would have been in- <br />curred in th'e sewer construction program.
