<br />3 .2. Amendment. Garbage Ordinance - A letter from George G;'Woodrich, attorney, was read
<br />which recommended that the Mayor appoint a garbage board to advise and assist members
<br />of the Garbage Haulers Association concerning problems in adminwtration of'the garb~ge
<br />ordinance. It was also suggested that the rate schedule'be=amended to include rates'
<br />for over-sized containers, heretofore not included. Mr. Lassen moved seconded by- Mr.
<br />Crakes to approve the requests. Motion carried. _

<br />5 4. Municipal Judge. Election - A letter was read from Jack J. Craig, acting chairman of ...
<br />the Citizen's Committee for a Full-Time Elected Municipal Judg~, which requested the ~
<br />-, City Council to place on the May 1966 primary:ballot the issue'of electing or 'appoint- -
<br />ing a municipal judge. The letter suggested that candidates for the position of
<br />municipal judge should be made aware of this request to place such an ,issue on the
<br />May 1966 primary ballot. After some questions and further discussi,on,: Mr. McNutt'
<br />moved seconded by mr'- Chatt to table the matter. Motion carried.

<br />6 5. North Bank Park Co-operation Agreement - The proposed agreement between the City, La~e

<br />improvement and maintenance of the North Bank Park was reviewed by the Council members.
<br />Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mr.Anderson that the Council go on r~cord' as approving the,

<br />7 6. Septic Tank Pumpers'. Rates for Dumping':'" The Public:Works Department recominended revi':'
<br />sion of rates for the dump~of sewage at the sewage treatment plant by trucks ~ervic~
<br />ing septic tanks. The "Suggestec:I rates: are_$7.~trfor loads to 150 gallons" $15.00 ,for"
<br />loads in' excess of 750 gallons,"which will'-bring'rates: in line with those charged by
<br />Springfield. Mr. McNutt moved seconded by Mr. Chatt to approve the recommendation.
