H&H Properties - Mr. Holleque of H&H <br /> Properties requested waiver' of cur.b requirement in front of their property on Mill <br /> Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. The Public Works Department recommended two <br /> 30-foot curb cuts separated by a l4-foot island. <br /> Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt to grant the curb cuts as recommended by the Public Works, <br /> Department. Motion carried. <br /> 2 5. Resignations - The following resignations were presented: <br /> Library Board - Mrs. Ralph Cobb, term expiring January 1, 1968 <br /> Human Rights Commission - Mrs. William H. Sills, term expiring January 1, 1968 <br /> " " " - Marshall N. Motion carried . <br /> 3 6. Widening Coburg Road. Option Snellstrom - The City Attorney recommended purchase of <br /> property from Orrin P. Snellstrom for $1450 for right-of-way for Coburg Road. Con- <br /> demnation proceedings had previously been authorized in the amount of $1270, the <br /> property being located at 795 Coburg Road. <br />I Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mr. Hawk to purchase the Snellstrom property for $1450. Rollcall vote. <br /> All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. <br /> 4 7. Housing Code Board of Appeals - The Council was requested to approve appointment of <br /> the Building Code Board of Appeals members as members of the Housing Code Board of <br /> Appeals until a new Housing Board is appointed. .The members to act on appeals from <br /> the Housing Code are: <br /> Richard A. Chambers, 1770 Skyline Boulevard .- Term expires January 1, 1966 <br /> Louis F. Bonson, 390 West 23rd Avenue " January 1, 1967 <br /> William W. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCES <br /> 5 Council Bill No. .7206 - Levying assessments for sewer in Willakenzie Sewer Improvement District <br /> No. WS-63-5, submitted and read the first time in full on June 28, 1965 and held over for proper <br /> notice of assessment to be given owners of affected pro~rty, was withdrawn and a corrected souncil <br /> bill will be presented at a later date. <br />I 6 Council Bill No. 7207 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer in Willakenzie Sewer Improvement <br /> District No. WS-64-2, submitted and read the first time in full on June 28, 1965 and held over fox: <br /> proper notice of assessment to be.given owners of affected property, was brought back for considera- <br /> tion with no written protests on file. <br /> Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br /> only, with.unanimous consent of the Council.
