~ 367 e 7/21/65 I Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 14042. 1 Council Bill No. 72l3~ - Authorizing condemnation proceedings for acquisition of Lots 11 and 12, Block 25, Chambers Addition (Ruzicka - Amazon right-of-way at 15th and Grant), for $2500, was sub- mitted and read in full. . Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the secdnd time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the rules be suspended and the bill read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the thrrd time by council bill number only. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held over and' proper notice ofassessmett given owners of affected property. Motion carried. I 3 Council Bill No. 7215 - Levying assessments for paving streets within Meadowlark Addition was submitted and read in full. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held over and proper notice of assessment given owners of affected property. Motion carried. 4 Council Bill No. 7216 - Levying assessments fdr sidewalk on both sides of Clark Street from Lawrence Street to Jackson Street was submitted and read infull. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held over and proper notice of assessment given owners of affected property. Motion carried. RESOLUTIONS 5 Resolution No. '1202 - . Submitting to voters at special election on September 28, 1965 a Charter amendment authorizing creation of separate municipal corporation or special'parking district within City boundaries to provide off-street parking facilities, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 6 Resolution No. -1203 - Listing minimum standard equipment for ambulances (See Ordinance 13976) was submitted and read in full. I Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 7 Resolution No. 1204 -'Transmitting to Planning Commission items for hearing on August 3, 1965 (Council hearing August 23, 1965) was submitted and read in full. . . Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1205 - Authorizing agreement with Ben A. Johnson, Lloyd F. Maxwell, Henry Hazen, e and Roy Nelson concerning purchase of'Dwigans property north of Mahlon Sweet Field for $5175, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Chatt moved seconded.by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote. All council- men present voting aye, except Mr. Crakes voting no, motion carried. 9 Resolution No. .1206 - Authorizing agreement with J. Hobart and Katherine Wilson concerning purchase of property north of Mahlon Sweet Field for $46,600, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote. All council- men present voting aye, except Mr. Crakes voting no, motion carried.
