Motion carried. 5 2. Coburg Road Right-of-Way. Rosin - The City Attorney recommended purchase of the Gust Rosin property at 992 Coburg Road for $300. Condemnation proceedings had previously been authorized for $250. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to buy the property for $300. . Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 6 3. Oakway Road Rights-of-Way - The Public Works Department requested authority to purchase right-of-way for Oakway Road on the following options: ~. James V. and Ruth Holmes, 881 Oakway Road - $520 b. John Thomson, 685 Oakway Road - $130 c. Keith L. Aikins, 981 Oakway Road - $310 7 4. Bethel-Danebo Pressure Line Right-of-way - The Public Work~ Department requested authority to purchase sewer easement from Kathryn F. Wise on property between Belt Line Road and River Avenue for $755.92. I 8 5. 24th Place Right-of-Way - The Public Works Department requested authority to purchase right-of-way for extension of 24th Place at Madison Street from James A. Bird (David Knox, with power-of-attorney) for $465. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to approve the purchase of rights-of-way as requested by the Public Works Department in Items 3, 4, and 5. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. e ORDINANCES 9 Council Bill No. 7214 - Levying assessments for paving Center Way from Snell Street to Necter Way, submitted and read the first time in full on July 21, 1965 and held over for proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected property, now brought back for consideration with no written protest on file. Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the council bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. ~ Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the council bill be read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
