<br /> The adjourned meeting of the Common Council of the city of Eugene, Oregon - adjourned from the
<br /> regular meeting held August 9, 1965 - was called to order at 7:30 p.m. PDT in the Council Chamber
<br /> on August 23, 1965 by His Honor Mayor Edwin E. Cone with the following councilmen present: Mr.Chatt,
<br /> Mr. Crakes, Dr. Purdy, Mr. McNutt, Mr. Anderson, and Mr. Lassen. Mrs. Lauris was absent, and
<br /> Mr. Hawk arrived later in fhe meeting.
<br /> The minutes of the Council meeting held August 9, 1965, as mailed to members of the Council,
<br /> were approved.
<br /> NEW BUSINESS
<br /> 1 Options. Oakway Road Rights-of-Way - The following land purchase options were presented to provide
<br />e for the Oakway Road right-of-way:

<br /> August l6, 1965 for the purchase of a front end loader with drop hammer attachment for the Public
<br /> Works Department:

<br /> on Oakway Road as being too high, and that a new bid call be issued on both the Oakway Road sidewalk
<br />I and on the sanitary and storm sewer project in Barker Subdivision, on which no bids were ~eceived.
