<br />Boulevard to Spring Boulevard, submitted and read the first time in full on February 27~ 1967 and
<br />held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected prop-
<br />erties, was brought back for consideration~ ' .

<br />One letter of protest was received from C. Philip Tillman, l8fo East 27th Avenue, . arid a sketch of
<br />the area was shown indicating Mr. Tillman's ownership. The City Manager recommended proceeding with
<br />th'e assessment, with adjustment to be made if it is found public dedication was made by Mr. Tillman.

<br />One written protest was received from L. L. Franssen, 1281 Highway 99N, claiming assessment excessive
<br />because of the pond at the rear of the property. It was 'recommended to defer the ~~ per square foot
<br />assessment on that portion covered by the pond until ~uch time as that land is us~d.

<br />L. E. Shimanek, 1083 Highway 99N, claimed assessment against his pro~erty wa~ not prope~ly computed.

<br />Mr. Anderron moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be.read the second time byl~ouncil bill num-
<br />ber only, excepting the ~~per square foot trunk assessment against the L.L.Franssen property as
<br />noted above be deferred, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the
