<br />The adjourned meeting of the Common Council of the city of Eugene, Oregon - adjourned from the
<br />regular meeting held June 12, 1967 - was called to order at 7:30 p.m. PDT on June 26, 1967 in the
<br />Council Chamber of Councilman McNutt in the absence of Mayor Edwin Cone, Council President Glen
<br />Purdy, Cmunci1 Vice President Lester Anderson, and Councilwoman Catherine Lauris. Other councilmen
<br />present were Mr. Lassen, Mrs. Hayward, and Messrs. McDonald and Wingard.
<br />
<br />The minutes of the meeting held June 12, 1967, as mailed to Council members, were approved.
<br />
<br />NEW BUSINESS
<br />
<br />1 Budget 1967-68- The City Manager reviewed proposed appropriations for all funds and
<br />~ changes recommended by the Budget Committee. The total proposed budget amounted to
<br />,., $ necessitating a tax levy of $3,939,493.78.
<br />
<br />Mr. Lassen moved seconed by Mr. McDonald to adopt the budget as presented and levy the
<br />tax. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried.
