Motion carried. <br /> 8 Council Bill No. 8130 - Levying assessments for sidewalk on west side of Hayes Street from 17th <br /> Avenue to north end of cul-de-sac, submitted and read in full. <br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held over to the August 28, 1967 Council <br /> meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTIONS <br /> 9 Resolution 1436 - Abatement, 1610 Grant Street, Mathers, was presented and read in full. <br /> I <br /> Mrs. Don Mathers asked several questions with regard to the amount of property at 1610 Grant Street <br /> the West Amazon Parkway right-of-way would take . She said she was negotiating with another party for <br /> sale of the property for about $35,000, but with the proposed Parkway right-of-way going through part <br /> of it, negotiations had stalled. She had asked the City for $19,000. The City Manager said the City <br /> would be willing to proceed with further negotiation for purchase of the property for the right-of-way. <br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution.
