He said the <br /> e sewer would not benefit his property since it is constructed above his house, and his house will have <br /> to be connected to the sewer on 43rd Avenue for proper drainage. The City Manager recommended passage <br /> of the ordinance, except that Mr. Wellborn's assessment could be canceled after an investigation to <br /> determine whether his property can be served by this sewer. <br /> 2 Council Bill No. 8126 - Levying assessments for sidewalk on Chambers Street from 18th to 23rd; <br /> Pierce Street from 18th to 23rd; Grant Street, Hayes Street, Garfield Street, and Arthur Street from <br /> I 18th to 22nd; City View Street from 18th to 23rd (east side), and 18th to 22nd (west side); and 22nd <br /> Avenue from Chambers to City View, submitted and read the first time in'full on July 24, 1967 and held <br /> over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, <br /> was brought back for consideration with no written protests on'file. <br /> Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Anderson that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br /> only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
