<br /> ,~ <br /> 43~) <br /> . <br /> 8/29/67 <br /> I 1 Resolution No. 1452 - Authorizing agreement between City and Soil Conservation Service for im- <br /> provement of Channel A-2 of Lower Amazon and Flat Creek Watershed Work Plan, was submitted and read <br /> in full. <br /> It was explained that this contract will enable the City to provide about $2500 in engineering work <br /> so that the project can proceed. The completed project will provide the City a facility into which <br /> Bethel-Danebo storm waters can drain. <br /> Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Anderson to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen <br /> present voting aye, motion carried. <br /> 2 Resolution No. 1453 - Calling hearing September 25, 1967 re: Abatement 1290 West 28th Avenue <br /> (VanZanten), was submitted and read in full. <br /> The Building Department requested abatement of the building because it is vacant and open, subject to <br /> extensive vandalism, and constitutes hazardous fire conditio ns. Council members viewed the property <br /> e on a recent tour. <br /> Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Anderson to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> 3 Resolution No. 1454 - Transmitting to Planning Commission for September 5, 1967 hearing amendment <br /> to Zoning Ordinance re: Group Home Care, was submitted and read in full. <br /> I Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Anderson to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Anderson reported on the trip the selection committee made to interview architects <br /> for the parking structure at 10th and Oak.
