<br />15. Miscellaneous Correspondence
<br />a. Oregon Liquor Control Commission re: Laure1wood Club - The Commission notified the
<br />Laure1wood Club that their closing hour was extended to 2:30 a.m.
<br />
<br />b. League of Women Voters, City Hall Tour - The League's letter expressed appreciation
<br />to the City Manager and Fire Chief for a recent guided tour of the City Hall.
<br />
<br />c. Transportation Plan, Interim Report - Copies of this report resulting from the
<br />Eugene-Springfield Area Transportation Study were distributed to Council members.
<br />
<br />d. Committee Meeting, Pacific First Federal - An invitation was issued to Council
<br />members to hold one of their noon committee meetings in the Pacific First Federal
<br />lunch room in the new building constructed on the old City Hall site. It was
<br />generally agreed the invitation would be accepted for the January 4, 1968 meeting."

<br />1. Zoning Ordinance - Copies of the final draft of the proposed zoning ordinance were
<br />distributed to Council members. January 22, 1968 was set as the date for the public
<br />hearing with the understanding that, if found to be necessary, dates for further
<br />hearings could be set at that time. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Anderson to
<br />approve January 22 as the date for the public hearing. Motion carried.

<br />2. Council Meeting Date - Because of the legal holiday February 12 which would normally
<br />be the date for the Council's first meeting in February, the date was changed to
<br />February 5, 1968.
