r

24

1/8/68

e

Mrs. Betty Niven, Planning Commission member, suggested the mapped streets statement not be limited
to arterial streets. She said she felt it should include any type of street for which right-of-way
may be needed. It was understood the City Manager and Mrs. Niven would work out the wording of the
statement.

With regard to the statement on continuity of local government, Councilman Wingard asked for a limit
on the length of time an interim Council would serve. The City Attorney explained the interim Council
would serve only long enough to choose Council members from citizens of the community.

Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mr. McNutt to approve the statements as read and amended. Motion carried.

Upon motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the meeting was adjourned to Monday,
January 22, 1968.

1 Resolution No. 1486 - Authorizing agreement with Soil Conservation Service on Amazon-Flat Creek
Watershed was submitted and read in full.

Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mr. McNutt that;_bhe resolution be adopted. Motion carried.

. ~

~

I

e

I

.

I

-

.

I

e
