It was agreed to hold this ordinance to be adopted with the zoning ordinance at the March 14 meeting. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the I, second time by council bill numberonly. , The City Manager explained the amendments to the Housing Code included in this ordinance are those required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to recertify Eugene's Workable Program. He said the changes involve semantics primarily, with the exception of allowing sleeping porches in fraternities, sororities, and dormitories, which will now be considered by variance procedures.
