<br />"'166 <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />4/22/68 <br /> <br />r - -- - . <br />il <br />I: <br />1 I, <br />i: <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8368 - Levying assessments for paving and sidewalk on Whitbeck from 28th Avenue <br />to McLean Boulevard; McLean Boulevard from Whitbeck Boulevard to Chambers Street; and paving Ingalls <br />Way from Whitbeck Boulevard to east approximately 250 feet, submitted and read the first time in full <br />on March 25, 1968 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners, <br />of affected properties, was brought back for consideration with one written protest onfile. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Mrs. Paul Burleson, 3005 Neslo Street, objected to the amount of assessment for sidewalk construction <br />abutting her property. It was explained the assessment was for both paving and sidewalk. <br /> <br />Letters objecting to reduction of the paving width on Whitbeck Boulevard from Roger W. Ha~ Seattle, <br />Washington, were presented together with the Public Works Department response. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of. the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />third time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. Ray Barnes and the City, a condition of the annex- <br />tion of area north of Green Acres Road and west of Norkenzie Road, was not signed, hence the repeal <br />of the annexing ordinances. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
