"'166 ., 4/22/68 r - -- - . il I: 1 I, i: ORDINANCES Council Bill No. 8368 - Levying assessments for paving and sidewalk on Whitbeck from 28th Avenue to McLean Boulevard; McLean Boulevard from Whitbeck Boulevard to Chambers Street; and paving Ingalls Way from Whitbeck Boulevard to east approximately 250 feet, submitted and read the first time in full on March 25, 1968 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners, of affected properties, was brought back for consideration with one written protest onfile. .. Mrs. Paul Burleson, 3005 Neslo Street, objected to the amount of assessment for sidewalk construction abutting her property. It was explained the assessment was for both paving and sidewalk. Letters objecting to reduction of the paving width on Whitbeck Boulevard from Roger W. Ha~ Seattle, Washington, were presented together with the Public Works Department response. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of. the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. " The City Manager explained the agreement between K. Ray Barnes and the City, a condition of the annex- tion of area north of Green Acres Road and west of Norkenzie Road, was not signed, hence the repeal of the annexing ordinances.
