. . . - . . . .. . . ~:, ~. - 23'9' 6/10/68 1 Council Bill No. 8489 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer in Laurelwood Area No. 2 (bounded by 27th Avenue, 30th Avenue, Agate Street, and Spring Boulevard extended south), submitted and read in full the first time on May 13, 1968 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assess- ment to be given owners of affected properties,was brought back for consideration with one letter of protest on file. A letter was read from John Alltucker requesting relief from assessment against his propertyat 28th Avenue and Central Boulevard. He wrote that deed restrictions prevent subdivision of his property with the result that only one house connection will be made, and asked if a more equitable amount could be assessed. The Public Works Director said his Department discussed this with Mr. Alltucker, and explained that the project assessment was uniformly distributed so that if it is not assessed against this property then it would have to be paid by others having property within the project area,. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr.Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the third time by council bill numberon1y. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15367. 2 Council Bill No. 8490 - Levying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Firland Heights Addition, submitted and read the first time in full on May 13, 1968 and held over to this meet- ing to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties,was brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. Mr.Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent cf the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the b ill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimowly and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
