<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~:, <br /> <br />~. - <br /> <br />23'9' <br /> <br />6/10/68 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8489 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer in Laurelwood Area No. 2 (bounded <br />by 27th Avenue, 30th Avenue, Agate Street, and Spring Boulevard extended south), submitted and read <br />in full the first time on May 13, 1968 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assess- <br />ment to be given owners of affected properties,was brought back for consideration with one letter of <br />protest on file. <br /> <br />A letter was read from John Alltucker requesting relief from assessment against his propertyat 28th <br />Avenue and Central Boulevard. He wrote that deed restrictions prevent subdivision of his property <br />with the result that only one house connection will be made, and asked if a more equitable amount <br />could be assessed. The Public Works Director said his Department discussed this with Mr. Alltucker, <br />and explained that the project assessment was uniformly distributed so that if it is not assessed <br />against this property then it would have to be paid by others having property within the project area,. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr.Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />third time by council bill numberon1y. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15367. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8490 - Levying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Firland <br />Heights Addition, submitted and read the first time in full on May 13, 1968 and held over to this meet- <br />ing to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties,was brought back <br />for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr.Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent cf the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the b ill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />third time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15368. <br /> <br />3 Council Bill No. 8491 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer on Seneca Road from 1st Avenue to <br />5th Avenue, submitted and read the first time in full on May 13, 1968 and held over to this meeting <br />to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was brought back for <br />consideration with no written protests on file, <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson mewed seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only,with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill numberonly. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />third time by council bill numberonly. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15369. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8492 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer reconstruction on Pearl Street from <br />2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue, submitted and read the first time in full on May 13, 1968 and held over to <br />this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was <br />brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimowly and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />third time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs.Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill wa s declared passed and numbered 15370 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8493 - Levying assessments for paving alley between Willamette Street and <br />McMillan Street from 22nd Avenue to 23rd Avenue, submitted and read the first time in full on May 13, <br />1968 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected <br />properties, was brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
