Overpass 30th and Potter - A letter, was read from School District 4 in which they agree <br /> to pay half the cost of an overpass on 30th at Potter Street. <br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to proceed, with design of the overpass and cost estimate <br /> based on the School District's sharing one-half the cost. Governor's Statement Human Rights - A statement was read issued by Governcr Tom McCall <br /> setting aside June, 21, 1968 as ,a day. begin~ing Oregon Action for Human Rights. <br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the statement ~e received and filed. Motion carried. <br /> Councilwoman Lauris commended the Mayor for his appointment of the Eugene Human Rights Commission ., <br /> which has taken the lead in Oregon in this work. <br />3 6. EWEB Annexation to Oakway - The Eugene Water & Electric Board requested authorization <br /> to annex part of their territory contiguous to Oakway Water District to that District. <br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to approve the annexation.
