<br /> 2 Auto Wrecking License submitted by C. E Sikes, president and general manager for Gunderson
<br /> White Trucks, Inc. , 220 West 6th Avenue.
<br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to recommend approval of the license. Motion carried.
<br /> II 3 Retail Malt Beverage Class A liquor license for Robinson's Tavern, 550 East 13th Avenue,
<br /> held over from the November 13, 1968 Council meeting, was brought on for consideration.
<br /> Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to recommend approval of the renewal application.
<br /> '. Mr. Donald Shreve, 539 East 13th Avenue, objected to op~ration of the tavern on the basis of creation
<br /> of noise and disturbance around 1:00 a.m. when it closes. The City Manager said the Police Depart-
<br /> ment reported the tavern is being operated in a manner similar to other taverns in the City, it is in
<br /> . a commercial zone, and that others in the neighborhood have commented on the improvement in its
<br /> operation since the" change of ownership. Mr. Burrington and Mr. Baker, two of the new owners, said
<br /> it is impossible to control the noIse after people have left the building but that every effort is
<br /> being made to keep it quiet. Councilman Anderson commented that there will be an opportunity to keep
<br /> the tavern under surveillance and if there are serious consequences the license can be reconsidered
<br /> when it is presented for renewal next year.
<br /> A vote was taken on the motion to recommend approval, and motion carried unanimously.

<br /> . application in view of the C1ty'S taking possession of that property, probably in December, for the
