He reiterated I . <br /> his position.that people moving ~nto Eugene under rehabilitation programs, etc., would be penalized <br /> by such. a requirement:' Council President Anderson said it was the Joint Housing Committee's intent,. <br /> and the Council's, to set general policy; with specific cases to be given consideration when required. <br /> The City Manager said the resolution itself does not specify any variations, but that. the letter <br /> transmitting the resolution to the Housing Authority could convey that the City's intent in requesting <br /> the six-month residency requ~rement was that the resolution be accepted as general guidance and not <br /> bind the Authority with regard to not allowing any exceptions..
