<br /> ~ <br /> 4,7-3 <br /> .. <br /> '.... <br /> 12/9/68 <br /> ~ - - -. -. - -- <br /> The City Manager explained the agreement authorized by this resolution would provide for loan of <br /> ~ police services, one to the other, when requested by either Salem or Eugene. <br /> Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. <br /> In answer to questions from Councilman Wingard, the City Manager said there would be no funds involved <br /> except in those instances when officers are required to stay over, then the borrowing city would pay <br /> housing costs. The loaning city retains control of its officers and would have authority in making a <br /> loan, denying it, or putting limitations on length of stay. <br /> A rollcall vote was taken on the motion to adopt theresolution, and motion carried, all councilmen <br /> present voting aye. <br /> 1 Resolution No. 1607 - Transmitting to Planning Commission Zoning Ordinance Amendments re: Special <br /> Setback, Judkins Point; Conditional Use in Var~Qus Districts; for hearing before the Planning Commission <br /> on January 7, 1969; was submitted and read in full. <br /> Councilman Lassen asked if the amendment on special setback on Judkins Point referred to a specific <br /> . property. The Planning Director replied that it referred to an amendment removing from the zoning <br /> ordinance sign setback regulations, since they are now covered by the recently adopted sign code. <br /> Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> . 2 Resolution No. 1608 - Authorizing Revocable Permit for' Private Sanitary Sewer Connection at 42 <br /> North Polk Street (Rose) was submitted and read in full. <br /> I. The City Attorney explained that the owner of property at 42 North Polk wishes to connect a private <br /> sewer line to the trunk. He said when laterals are constructed, the line will then be connected to <br /> the lateral. <br /> Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution.
