:i 37 2/3/69 I 1 Council Bill No. 8720 - 1evying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Pine Ridge Estates 1st Addition and on Maha10 Drive from east boundary Pine Ridge Estates to West Hillside Drive was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be held over to the February 24, 1969 Council meeting to allow proper notice of .assessment to be given owners of affected properties. ,Motion carried. 2 Council Bill No. 8721 Levying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers within 160 feet west of Brittany Street was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bi11.be held over to the February 24, 1969'Counci1 meeting to allow proper notice of assessment. to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. 3. Council Bill No. 8722 - Levying assessments for paving Edison Street from Goodyear Street to Morse Street; Morse from Edison to 500 feet north; and sanitary sewer within 160 feet of each side . of Goodyear from Side to Edison, and within 160 feet of each side of Edison from Goodyear to Morse and within 160 feet of each side of Morse from Edison to 600 feet north was submitted and,read in full. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be held over to the February, 24, 1969 Council meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. 4 Council Bill No. 8723 - Levying assessments for paving and sanitary and storm sewers in Erin Park Addition was submitted and read in full. t Mrs. Hayward moved, seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be held over to the February 24, 1969 Council meeting ,to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties.. Motion carried. 5 Council Bill No. 8724 - Levying assessments for paving and sanitary and storm sewers in 2nd Addition to Cambridge Park was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be held over to the February 24, 1969 Council meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. RESOLUTIONS ~ 6 .~, Resolution No. 1622 - Granting'variance allowing duplex at 26th and Potter (Champion) was '. submitted and read in full. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. J Reso~ution No. 1623 - Repealing Resolution 1608 and revoking permit for sanitary sewer connec- tion 42 North Polk (Rose) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1624 - Approving Conditional Use Permit for Alcoholic Rehabilitation Group Care Facility (7th and Lawrence) Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. -9 Resolution No. 1625 - Traffic: Stop signs 39th and Donald; Prohibiting parking 5th and Lawrence. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. 10 Resolution No. 1626 - Authorizing agreement with Richard C. and Sharon R. Warren; Louise Ireland; Stuart and Jean Rich; Katherine Cornish; and Robert and Kerlin Rentch1er re Dedication of portion of right of way on 20th Avenue between Madison and Monroe Streets (cul-de-sac construction and vacation portion 20th) was submitted and read in full. In answer to a question from Mr. McDonald the City Manager explained that the City had initiated paving of a larger area with a system of cu1 de sacs, but property owners could not agree to a pro- posed plan. This resolution would develop one cu1 de sac and prevent 20th Avenue f~om becoming a through street. In answer to Mr. McDona1ds question concerning sidewalks, Ar. Allen explained that sidewalks would be on one side only, expept in the block between Washington Street and Jeffer,son Street where there were already several sidewalks on both sides of the street. Mr. Allen displayed a map illustrating the proposed cu1 de sac and the location of sidewalks. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. 11 Resolution No. 1627 - Setting March 10, 1969 at 7:30 p.m. assessment hearing re: 7th and Wi11amette Parking Assessment District. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned to February ://~.
