Motion carried unanimously and bill was <br />read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the council bill be read the third time by council <br />bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. 'Motion carried unanimously and the bill was <br />read the third time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />City Manager said written protest had been filed by Mr. Camerot on behalf of the property owner, and <br />final passage was postponed until report back from City administration. Objections protested assess- <br />ment of sanitary sewers in accordance with Council policy that this assessment be applied against <br />new subdivisions, whereas, it is not applied against existing developed areas of the City. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8717 - Levying assessments for paving and sanitary and storm sewers in Gillilan <br />Plat was submitted and read the first time in full on February 3, 1969 and held over to this meeting <br />to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was brought back for <br />consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the council bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was <br />read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the council bill be read the third time by council <br />bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15536. <br /> <br />3 Council Bill No. 8718 - Levying assessment for paving North Shasta Loop from Firland Boulevard <br />to Vine Maple Street; and paving and sanitary and storm sewers in Oak Hills 4th Addition; and paving <br />and sanitary sewer in Villa Vista 1st Addition was submitted and read the first time in full on Feb- <br />ruarry 3, 1969 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners <br />of affected properties" was brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the council bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only with unanimous consent of the Council. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15537. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8719 - levying assessments for sanitary sewer in BD-67-l6 (Between City View, <br />a line 160 feet north of 18th, Bailey Hill Road, and east/west centeriiim.e of Section 2, T18S,R4W, <br />W.M) was submitted and read the first time in full on February 3, 1969 and held over to this meeting <br />to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was brought back for <br />consideration with a written protest from John R. and Lesley H. Meninger, objecting to assessment <br />until settlement of placement of property line. Department of Public Works has discussed the matter <br />with owners and agreement will be reached. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr'. McDonald that the council bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. All councilmen present voting aye, <br />the bill was declared passed and numbered 15538. <br /> <br />5 Council Bill No. 8720 - levying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Pine Ridge <br />Estates 1st Addition and on Mahalo Drive from east boundary Pine Ridge Estates to West Hillside Drive <br />was submitted and read the first time in full on February 3, 1969 and held over to this meeting <br />to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was brought back for <br />consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the council bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
