(" {) <br />~,(.;o <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />4/14/69 <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1 Council Bill No. 8799 - levying assessments for sanitary trunk line on Bailey Hill Road and 18th <br />Avenue on the south; Paragon Road on the West; Wilson Court on the East; Amazon Channel on the north; <br />south of 11th Avenue from Paragon Road to the proposed Beltline Road was submitted and..read the first <br />time in full ,on March 24, 1969 and held 9ver to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be <br />tgiven owners of affected properties, and was brought back for consideration with no written protests on <br />ii'file. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward' "moved seconded by'Mr. McDonald that the bill be read the second time by counci 1 bill number <br />only with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second <br />time by Council bill humber only. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the third <br />time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15617. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2 Council Bill No. 8801 - Vacating McLean Boulevard west of Graham Drive (Richard E. Pierce) was <br />submitted and' read in full. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only with unanimous consent of the Council. Rollcall. <br />All councilmen present voting'aye~ thg bill was declared passed and mumbered 15621. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />'i'Add to item 1 - Mr. Ray Rexious, owner of property on 15th a,nd Bailey Hill Road said, in granting an <br />easement, he had stated charges would be on the basis 'of an 8" sewer line and normal installation. He <br />felt the assessment wa,s high for this type installation, and had asked for a bid for a sewer line running <br />along the opposite side of his property~'. The cost in comparison would be about 1/3 less. This seemed to <br />indicate the cost was rather high. Public Works Department said project was bid on the entire system, <br />and th~y have followed standard procedure for figuring assessments on this project.
