II The Director of Public Works explained that the Planning Commission has suggested a one foot freeze strip along the north boundary of the street, which~ in essence, prohibits the property owners from the north from using the street. The City will require a con- tract providing that ~h~ petitioner will pay paving ~osts; When abutting northerly property owner desires use of the street, he will pay his share of the street costs. When abutting norther.1y proper'ty owner desires use of the 'street, he will pay his share of the street costs, which wi'll be refunded to the petitioner.. Additional Right of Way, Gilham Road - Public Works Department has options on 1925 Gilham Road, $250.00; 1046 East 20th Avenue $108.00; 1835 Gilham Road $205.00; 1521 Gilham Road $225.00; 2020 Gilham Road $265.00. In order to install this sewer, right of way is required through. the Kirkpatrick property. The City has been unable to negotIate and needs authorization to proceed with condemn'ation. It is hoped negotiations can be completed before it comes to court. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mrs. Beal to approve the recommendation of staff and proceed with condemnation proceedings on- the Kirkpatrtck property.' Motion carried. Appointments, Eugene Renewal Agency - Since Mr. Wingard's term expired, his position has not been filled.
