This will be a straight exchange of property; with .no <br /> I monetary consideration. - <br /> II <br /> I, Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mrs. Hayward to approve exchange of city parks property <br /> I with that of Mrs. Prue.tt. Personnel Policy Discussion, Continuation - Personnel Director distributed copies of a <br /> I benefit comparison sheet, and explained benefits paid by different companies in the area. <br /> I <br /> There was Council discussion regarding holidays, and the Council consensus was that <br /> holidays .falling on Sunday would be recognized on the follow.ing Monday, but that those <br /> .1 falling on Saturday would not be recognized. The Council agreed that those working <br /> on Saturday would receive additional compensation for the day worked, and felt <br /> policy modification should be considered. I <br /> I Mr. Flynn felt firemen should pe paid time and a half for working on holidays and proposed <br /> six days off in lieu of four. The employe group has requested the same consideration. <br /> II The Council discussed the rate of pay for holidays worked, and suggested further study <br /> II of this policy. Mayor Anderson said it was not necessary'to compare with the best <br /> 'I in industry, but consideration should be given to ,the entire.policy for city employes. <br /> Mr. Flynn said this had been discussed at length with'the PersOnnel 'Director; and ' . <br /> they were requesting an equitable solution to the problem. <br /> I <br /> Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald to receive and file Item 13 of the Committee report. <br /> , <br /> I' Motion carried. <br /> Assessment Segregation - Emerald Development Co.
