Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 9081 - Levying assessments for paving sidewalk and driveway approaches <br />'I on Gilham Road from Cal YOung Road to Beltline Road and RockY. Lane from Gilham Road to Elysium <br />I," Avenue was submitted and read in full the first time on February 9, 1970, and held over to <br />II this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, <br />and brought back for consideration with Offi written protests on file. <br /> <br />The City Manager read a letter from Mr. Robert Meltebeke in which he objected to being assessed <br />twice. His lot fronts on both Gilham Road and Elyssium Street. The City Manager explained that this <br />is standard assessment procedure on lots which have access to paved streets on both front and back. <br /> <br />Mr. Meltebeke said he would pay what was fair, but he had been told there was a case in the City <br />similar to his which has not been resolved.
