Camarot, attorney for Edgewood Shopping Center, <br />, . <br />protesting the assessment for storm sewer, and asking that, should the court rule favorably for the <br />company in a suit now pending, the protest be recognized and the storm sewer assessment set aside. <br />.. .. ... ' <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended that the assessment ordinance be adopted and if the city is unsuccess- <br />ful in the'law suit find decides not to appeal, the ordinance maybe.amended. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the bill be read the second time by council bill <br />number only, with unanimous consent of.the Council. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1828 - Authorizing sale of $901,273 limited general obligation warrants of the <br />city of Eugene, Oregon.was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />The City Manager commented that the interest rate of 4.75% for this sale is the same as paid last <br />year. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved s'econded by Mr. Teague that the resolution be adopted.
