League of Oregon Cities, Noveffiber 8-10, 1970 - Manager read the League Newsletter <br /> outlining agenda and arrangments to be made for this conference. <br /> [, <br />I 9. Charitable Solicitation Ordinance - Mr. McDonald attended a meeting of interested <br /> agencies concerning this proposed ordinance. It is felt the Grandmother clause <br /> covers existing agencies, and that this ordinance will eliminate exploitation of <br /> local charitable organizations. <br /> : 10. Suit Challenging Validity of Riviera Annexa~ion - City Attorney said the City had <br /> " <br /> been served a complaint in the case of River Road Park and Recreation District versus <br /> the city of Eugene, Lane ~unty Boundary Board and Lane County Tax Assessor which challenges <br /> validity of boundary board state law and also procedures followed in regard to annexation <br /> : of area known as Riviera Shopping Center. Ambuitance Fee Study Committee - Committee for setting of fees' for ambulance <br /> " service will meet September 10 and will then meet with the ambulance service. <br /> !
