He felt entertainment should b~ <br /> included in the 20% allowed for expenses, and felt the section could be better drawn. <br /> !' With regard to telephone solicitation, he felt provision should be made for requirement of personal " <br /> contact following this type solicitation. <br /> Mayor Anderson explained that a public hearing had been held at a previous meeting on this ordinance, <br /> and that the matter of entertainment expense had been discussed at that time. He explained to Mr. <br /> Owen that the proposed ordinance was new, and could be amended if it was found that portions were not <br /> " satisfactory. <br /> i <br /> Councilman Teague suggested that the Council might work toward State legislation of this type activity., I <br /> I: Mayor Anderson thought it might be well for the Council to consider this part of its legislative <br /> program. <br /> Vote taken on motion as stated. Congress had I <br /> already passed the requested legislation. <br /> Resolution 1866 - Supporting action of the Oregon State Board of Higher Education in posting a e <br /> $5,000 reward re: damage done to Prince Lucien Campbell Hall on U. of O.
