Oliver Wyman, 2281 Wisconsin, said he had not been notified of this assessment and had no i, knowledge of it until he had received the assessment on one lot. He complained that the contractor had torn up his lot and left a large lake of water which had not been corrected six months later. He had finally corrected the problem himself. City Manager explained that county records~are used for notification, and that when property is pur- chased on contract which is not recorded, the original owner is notified. This happened in Mr. Wyman's case. Public Works Director said the contractor is nob allowed to trespass, and that his office should have been notified of the problem. His office will investigate the matter to see why the contractor did not repair the damages. Council Bill No. 9295 - Vacating Beach Street between University Avenue and Agate Street and I reserving easements for public utilities was submitted and read in full. Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mrs. Hayward that the bill be read the second time by council bill number - only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
