<br /> ! ease the traffic problem somewhat.
<br /> Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the Planning Commission.recommendation be approved. e

<br /> b. Planning Commission Initiated - Area between 11th and 12th Avenues, .Chambers and
<br /> Hayes; R-l .to RG - Based on the General Plan, it appeared, to the Planning Comm-
<br /> ission that the property should be reclassified RG and that, where appropriate,
<br /> encouragement be gi ven for residential development and/0r rezoning to RG of the I
<br /> " C-2 property along the south side of 11th Avenue and west side'of Chambers Street
<br /> I' between 11th and 12th Avenues. No action taken.
<br /> Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the Planning Commission recommendation be approved.
<br /> Motion carried.
<br /> 2. Zone Changes, Recommended Denial:
<br /> John Steinmuller, northwest corner 12th and Grant; R-l to R-3. Approval of the fore- :;
<br /> going item would cover this area, which makes the request moot.
<br /> Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Gribskov that the Planning Commission recommendation be upheld.
<br /> Motion carried. Mr. McDonald abstained because of a possible conflict of interest.

<br /> land at the extreme northerly portion of Mobile Parks West, which has been recently
<br /> annexed to the City. RA zoning is recommended.
