<br />Christmas Tree Salvage - Mr. Mohr was interested in the success of the Christmas tree salvage
<br />program. The City Manager stated there had been a greater response than anticipated and
<br />the success-of the ope;ation could not be determined until all the figures are calculated.
<br />Apparently, this is a needed project, since so many Eugene citizens took advantage of the
<br />program. file

<br />Assistant City Manager called attention to a progress payment to S. F. Wilson for the Eugene
<br />Overpark in the amount of 17,782.48. This sum is doe contractors pursuant to terms of the
<br />contract which provided for arbitration in case of dispute. Rather than an excess of $40,000
<br />as claimed by the contractor, the arbitrators directed that the City pay an additional
<br />$17,782.48.
<br />
<br />The Assistant City Manager ~urther explained that there is another matter concerning the
<br />Overpark still under arbitration, and that a decision will be reached in a few days which
<br />will require Council action.
