Motion carried, <br />all councilmen present voting aye. <br /> Resolution No..- 2086 - Accepting bid for General Obligation Construction Warrants -'of-The I <br />";; ~Ore?gonBari1:sf_at 3.7% interest rate, was submitted. <br />'.;;:.-:;.;:~....-:- --.<-"-' <br />Manager commented that in the last two or three years bids have been called for short-term . <br />borrowing-of funds to pay-contractors prior to collection of assessment from property owners <br />or sale of Bancroft bonds., The bid from Oregon Bank of 3.7% interest, he said, is the lowest <br />ever received for this tyP€ of borrowing. <br />Mr. Mohr moved seconded by Mrs. Beal to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. Motion carried, <br />all councilmen present voting aye. <br /> Resolution No. 2087 - Supporting Renewal, Agency Amendatory Application, ORE-R-18, Central <br />Eugene Project, was submitted. <br /> I <br />Manager said the Mayor in discussing the Central Eugene Project with members of the Congressional <br />delegation on a recent trip to Washington was told a statement by the Council supporting the ERA <br />application would be helpful in negotiating with HUD for praid consideration of the application. <br />Mr. Mohr moved seconded by Mrs. Beal to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. Motion carried, <br />all councilmen present voting aye. <br /> Southridge Appeal - Some discussion took place with regard to when a quorum of the Council <br />could be present to hear this, appeal. In answer to Councilman Mohr, Manager said the appeal is <br />on whether. the Planning Commission is correct in its assessment of findings of what is needed . <br />to grant PUDs, based, on the zoning ordinance.
