J. Ad Hoc Council Corruni ttee, Ordina:nce Study- Councilmen Hershner (chairman), Bea1, and Murray were appointed as members of an ad hoc comndttee to study and make recommendations to the Council on the ordinances having to do wi th dis- orderly conduct,public indecency, and resisting arrest. which were tabled at the December 18, 1972 Council meeting. It was understood Mr. Hershner would call a meeting of the conmrittee. K. Swearing-In, Mayor and Councilmen - Mayor Lester E. Anderson and Councilwoman Wickes Bea1, re-e1ected in November 1972, and newly elected councilmen Gus Keller, Neil Murray, and Robert Wood received the oath of office from City Recorder Flogstad. L. Budget Meeting - Manager announced Budget Committee meeting scheduled for ThurSday, January 4, 1973, 7:30 p.m., in the McNutt Room. M. Appointment, Jim Luce, Legislative Liaison - Manager announced appointment of Jim Luce, law student at the University of Oregon, to work part time as legisla- tive liaison in the Manager's office during the 1973 session of the Oregon Legislature. IV - Ordinances Council Bill No. 154 - Calling hearing on February 12, 1973 re: Vacation of easement on east side of Agate Street at Black Oak Road (Lomsky) was submitted and read the fi:rs-t time by council bill number and title only, there being no councilman present requesting that it be read in full. Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enactment be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be approved and given final passage.Roll- call vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16690. Council Bill No. 155 - Construction of storm sewer within Bedford Plat was submitted and read the first time by council bill number and title only, there being no councilman present requesting that it be read in full. Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enactment be considered at this 'time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only; . Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams. that the bill be approved and given final passage.
