Ad Hoc Council Corruni ttee, Ordina:nce Study- Councilmen Hershner (chairman), <br />Bea1, and Murray were appointed as members of an ad hoc comndttee to study and <br />make recommendations to the Council on the ordinances having to do wi th dis- <br />orderly conduct,public indecency, and resisting arrest. which were tabled at <br />the December 18, 1972 Council meeting. It was understood Mr. Hershner would <br />call a meeting of the conmrittee. <br /> <br />K. Swearing-In, Mayor and Councilmen - Mayor Lester E. Anderson and Councilwoman <br />Wickes Bea1, re-e1ected in November 1972, and newly elected councilmen Gus <br />Keller, Neil Murray, and Robert Wood received the oath of office from City <br />Recorder Flogstad. <br /> <br />L. Budget Meeting - Manager announced Budget Committee meeting scheduled for <br />ThurSday, January 4, 1973, 7:30 p.m., in the McNutt Room. <br /> <br />M. Motion carried, all councilmen present voting aye. <br /> <br />IV - Ordinances <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 154 - Calling hearing on February 12, 1973 re: Vacation of easement on east <br />side of Agate Street at Black Oak Road (Lomsky) was submitted and read the fi:rs-t time by council <br />bill number and title only, there being no councilman present requesting that it be read in full. <br /> <br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be read the second time by council bill <br />number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enactment be considered at this time. <br />Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be approved and given final passage.Roll- <br />call vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16690. <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 155 - Construction of storm sewer within Bedford Plat was submitted and <br />read the first time by council bill number and title only, there being no councilman present <br />requesting that it be read in full. <br /> <br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Williams that the bill be read the second time by council bill <br />number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enactment be considered at this <br />'time.
