Manager replied that staff was aware that the quads were <br /> :creating traffic and parking problems since most of the ones in that area were <br /> ,occupied by students, and the one and a half parking spaces for every four adults; <br /> !were not sufficient. However, quads were being de~eloped in other areas for <br /> :elderly people, many not owning automobiles, ,so there were ramifications. Rollcall vote. <br /> Motion carried, all Council members present voting aye. <br /> III - Ordinances <br /> Council Bill No. 602 - Amending Sections 8.725 (a}(c) and 8.804 (3) of City <br /> Code and deleting Section 8.820 (2) re: Permit fees <br /> for signs and appeals on signs and for change of sign district boundary - to <br /> be set by Council resolution, was read the first time on July 8, 1974 and held <br /> pending completion of fee study, and brought back for Council-eonsideration aNd ~ <br /> ):'ead the second time by council bill- number and':-title only, ~here -being no council- <br /> man present requesting that it be read in full. <br /> Mr. Williams moved seconded by Mr. Wood that the bill be approved and given final - <br /> passage. Rollcall vote.
