<br />e <br /> <br />Later in the meeting, Ms. Wooten said she felt strongly about the testimony <br />the council received. Ms. Bishow responded that the Lane Electric Energy <br />Planning Program will be used as much as possible, but it is not a planning <br />document and is out of date. She said the staff recommended retaining Policy <br />1 and referring to related energy documents, such as the Lane Electric Enel'gy <br />Planning Program when preparing a comprehensive energy plan. <br /> <br />Chapter III, Section K of the Metro Plan <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to tentatively approve <br />the text changes to the Citizen Involvement section recommended <br />by the MPC and change #1 recommended by the Springfield Planning <br />Commission on page 9 of the Text Amendments. Roll call vote; <br />the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Chapter IV of the Metro Plan <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to tentatively approve <br />the text changes to the Plan Review section recommended by the <br />MPC and the Eugene Planning Commission and described in items 1, <br />2, 3, and 5 on pages 10 and 11 of the Text Amendments. Roll <br />call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ms. Bishow noted that the motion excluded the fourth item in the Text Amend- <br />ments concerning MAPAC's role. She said the Springfield City Council will <br />make a recommendation about MAPAC's role which will then be considered by t.he <br />other jurisdictions. The motion reconfirmed MAPAC's current role. <br /> <br />Chapter V of the Metro Plan <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to tentatively approve <br />text changes to the Glossary and Appendix A recommended by the <br />MPC and the three planning commissions.
