Cathy Freedman of the City <br /> Manager's Office gave the staff report. She said the two vacancies on the <br /> Downtown Commission must be filled by people who fit specific criteria. She <br /> said background material sent to the councilors indicated that Charles Strong <br /> and Steven Koester do not meet the cri teri a. In addition, two other <br /> candidates do not meet the criteria. They are Robert Pearson and Joseph <br /> Tokatly. <br /> Mr. Hansen said the council discussed reappointing current members who apply <br /> for positions on advisory bodies without interviewing other candidates. He <br /> asked for opinions of other councilors. <br /> Ms. Wooten said she would not support Mr. Hansen's suggestion. <br /> e Ms. Wooten said the background material distributed to the councilors <br /> indicated she ;s a member of the Metropolitan Partnership but she is not a <br /> member now. <br /> The councilors submitted their ballots. <br /> VI. He said the council action <br /> will amend assessments made before construction of the projects. <br /> CB 2927--An ordinance concerning assessments for sanitary sewers <br /> from east Bank Trunk north to Centennial Boulevard to <br /> serve Tax Lots 17-03-29-30-02600, 17-03-29-40-301, 700, <br /> 800, 900 AND 1000, and in Centennial Boulevard from 350 <br /> feet east of Centennial Loop to 4,500 feet east of <br /> Centennial Loop; amending Ordinance 19105; and <br /> declaring an emergency.
