e i' VI. ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 1981 (memo, resolution, and background information distributed) Mr. Gleason introduced Greg Klimko, Finance. Mr. Klimko stated that he and Bob Henarie of Peat, Marwick, and Mitchell could answer questions. The overexpenditures were very small. Item C is the result of the continuing problems with reimbursement of the FAA grants. The City's funds must be spent before being reimbursed by the FAA, and there is often a substantial time delay. Res. No. 3651--A resolution setting forth measures to correct deficiencies disclosed in the 1981 audit report and stating the period of time estimated for completion thereof. Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to adopt the resolution. Mr. Obie noted several differences indicated on the management letter. He asked if a report would be received back on the correction of those differences. Mr. Gleason responded that the council would receive that information, perhaps in the quarterly report. Mr. Lindberg asked if the councilor's name being omitted means that he is not liable for the document. Mr. Gleason indicated that he would correct the omission of Mr. Lindberg's name. 4It Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. e VII. EMERALD CANAL UPDATE Councilor Lindberg stated that as a representative of the Emerald Canal Study Task Force, he wished to inform the council that they had completed their review, and it has been distributed.
